Any idea on how to get around that?
I would really like to be able to follow.
Thanks a lotAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02886357377570452323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3998628784041768080.post-75962748701183956092016-07-18T19:47:20.651+01:002016-07-18T19:47:20.651+01:00If you use a date filter, then you're filterin...If you use a date filter, then you're filtering the data, so of course it won't work. You'll need to use a different calculation. See if you can figure it out. It's a good test for you.VizWizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11408220384219218043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3998628784041768080.post-83124577110751220462016-07-18T13:47:44.551+01:002016-07-18T13:47:44.551+01:00Thank you Andy, this is very practical.

How can I be flexible and change my latest year?

Thanks a lot!

AngélineAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02779453982307482863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3998628784041768080.post-18763404850787008512016-07-18T13:33:37.426+01:002016-07-18T13:33:37.426+01:00Hi Shivraj,

What I did was changing the Mark Position calculated field by : AVG (-5000). Then I made my bottom axis fixed starting to -8000 so the mark position wouldn't be too close from the bars. You can play with both until you like the result.
Hope that helps!

AngélineAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02779453982307482863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3998628784041768080.post-43173643755523107802016-06-28T17:11:20.054+01:002016-06-28T17:11:20.054+01:00This is great! But what are the potential implications if your dataset has negative data in it - would you just use a different negative avg for placement or could you make the placement value dynamic as compared to the min of the data set?
Also, I would bet someone would want the negative value on the axis suppressed for this. Suggestions?WhizGidgethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06280020719686962922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3998628784041768080.post-73387061534210319572016-06-28T12:14:54.901+01:002016-06-28T12:14:54.901+01:00Thanks Andy for the great tip.
